Despite of the poor reviews we read, we had a great stay in Lexington hotel. It is an old hotel but location is great, not too crowded but still close to some NY iconic place, only few blocks to Rockefeller Center, Grand Central, Time Square, 5th Ave etc. Room is small but clean and amenities works well. Room is cleaned everyday as well. You can ask for coffee machine if you'd like to and they will deliver it to your room. Some great restaurant and cafe within walking distance. Staff are friendly and always do their best to make sure you have a great stay. Elevators work fine and there is no line at all when we're there. There is also Starbucks connected to the hotel. Overall, we are happy during our stay and for sure will come back

Nice hotel. The doormen were always very pleasant and helpful. Desk staff were also very courteous. The room I had was adequate. King bed and TV with two closets. Smaller bathroom, but that's midtown Manhattan for ya. I had a Keurig machine in my room and fridge- thought it was standard, but soon learned it was not. Pretty much you got lucky or it was first come first serve for these appliances, including a microwave. I stayed about two weeks and asked for a microwave nearly everyday of my stay until the day I got lucky and got one. They said they put my name on a list but I think it was really the staying on top of it that got me the microwave. I feel like in a Marriott hotel (Autograph collection) in 2026, every room should have these three appliances. Apart from that all the staff I interacted with were so friendly. The room was clean and did not smell. Heating and cooling worked well. It was a little dim even with all the lamps on. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows for the most part. The noises from the hotel were loud and obnoxious. I used ear plugs when I could (there was a pair provided in the bedside table as well for "NY's loud noises"). Breakfast was offered for a fee. At the time of my visit it was a buffet for $36. I did not partake in this therefore have no comment. The entirety of the hotel itself, the common areas and lobby, were clean and well maintained. Another annoyance to me was that ice machines were only on certain levels. On about six various levels out of the 27 stories. On site access to the crunch gym downstairs was nice. I only went once because of time constraints. Small gym but has enough to get a good workout in. Friendly staff as well. The hotel was located in a great spot in midtown, next to a subway station as well as Grand Central. Quick access to many common sites. Overall would stay again, but would be frustrated if I didn't have a fridge or microwave so I would opt for a hotel that would guarantee me such.

I was very pleasantly surprised by my stay at the Lexington Hotel! The rooms are small (true of nearly every hotel in NYC) however the closet was very deep and the dresser was just large enough for my partner and I to unpack. Perfect sized room for two people - any more would have been a bit of a stretch. Same is true for the bathroom - small but just enough shelves & storage to unpack. Great water pressure in the shower and no issues with hot water. Heating & AC worked as expected. Housekeeping was consistent, refreshing towels and emptying trash on a daily basis was so helpful! The elevators were very efficient and reliable, never had any issues getting in or out of our room. The location is great! Super walkable to the theater district and very fun to be in close proximity to 5th Ave, Rock Center, and the SE corner of Central Park. Overall a great stay, would come back and would recommend to a friend!

After reading a lot of recent poor reviews I was pleasantly suprised with the hotel and stay. Yes it's an older hotel, but clean and very cozy. When booking I've mentioned that we will be celebrating my daughter's 18th BD. We've got early check in (although the hotel was busy), 18th floor and cake and chocolates in the room. It was very nice. Breacfast was delicious and included with our package. Great variety of food. Complimentary bottled water. Great location of the hotel. Not too busy area but close to everything. Overall great stay!

Surprised about these negative reviews. In New York City, you have to pay an inordinate amount of money to get a large expansive room. So the room was a fairly standard size, but very efficient in what it had to offer. This hotel, symbolizes old world glamour with a lot of detailed finishing touches. In fact, Joe DiMaggio, and Marilyn Monroe lived here at one point. The location is marvelous, the staff went above and beyond, and it was super convenient for everything we had to do in the Midtown area. All in all, a great experience. We will return to this hotel for sure.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. It’s honestly located in the best area of Manhattan, with so many touristic attractions nearby just to walk to. We stayed from New Year’s Eve and a couple days into the beginning of January. The credits we received extra per day for food and beverage, laundry, and free gym access were such a nice surprise from the hotel. I would highly recommend coming here in the winter time or in the summertime, you can go wrong with either. The room we had was beautiful, spacious, and had a somewhat nice view from the 28th floor. The beds were super comfortable and we slept great with no interruptions. One issue we did have was the plumbing. Out of the four days we were there, two of the days our toilet was clogged, and we had to call the front desk to come in and fix the issue. There are Metro stations nearby, which are a five minute walk or an eight minute walk. It is very easy to get around and you can’t get lost. There is also a cute small store in the lobby where you can find basic essentials for purchase if you run out of them. We were also given free water. We were there every day, two free city, bike passes, and free Wi-Fi. Overall, highly recommend this location and hotel, you can’t go wrong!

Conveniently located with easy subway access. The rooms might feel little old, however, they were comfy enough. The hotel employees are super helpful. Special thanks to Clara for providing good info and recommendations!

Wonderful experience, thanks to the Director. We realized upon check-in that our reservation, prepaid with Bonvoy points months ago, had not been correctly processed: the room was available, but we had to pay. Only thanks to the great courtesy and professionalism of the Director of the Lexington Hotel, Mr. Yasir, did our vacation go smoothly. The misunderstanding was cleared up upon our return to Italy, with the charges fully refunded to the guarantee card. People make the difference.
